David Bradford oversees customer and government relations for the City of Roseville’s electric utility where he develops public programs that fulfill state and federal regulatory obligations. As such, he oversees energy efficiency and public goods offerings including programs that serve disadvantaged communities. One of his primary focuses is the future use of electricity as it relates to the electrification of transportation. David has thirteen years’ experience in the electric industry and has been nationally recognized for his work with public renewable energy projects.
David began his career in the competitive technology industry where he spent more than twelve years focused on product marketing for IBM Corporation. While there he gained experience in event marketing, technical sales and strategic integrated marketing for the data storage and server section of the business before moving his career focus to the public sector where he is able to pursue his passion. David has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from San Jose State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.
David is a public servant at heart and believes in working hard to strengthen communities, improve lives and support growth as a society. He believes community strength stems from strong family values. Family is a priority for David, he and his wife have two daughters who are both passionately committed to the performing arts. David also sits on the board of directors for Access Dance, a non-profit organization providing dance instruction for people with mental and physical challenges.
