Level UP

We are one of a handful of CASA programs in California that assigns CASAs to youth in who are on probation through the Juvenile Justice system. As our judge states, “The difference between probation (JJ) youth and foster youth is ‘who was caught?’ In Delinquency it was the youth, in Dependency it was the parents. In both cases the family dynamics are pretty much the same.”

Our CASAs who serve these youth undergo additional training to enable them to mentor probation youth and help them successfully complete the terms of their probation.

Become a Level up Mentor

“One of my clients told me that the person she found the most helpful through the CPS process was her Family Mentor. The Mentor was the most responsive, had lots of answers and suggestions for her, and offered guidance and direction at every stage. She was quite appreciative of that resource. I'm happy to pass on the glowing words!”
