Become a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) to help provide support and stability for children in foster care. Our NEW CASA program in Yuba County empowers community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in need.

Five Steps to Become an Advocate

Get started today by sending us an email at

1. Info Session

Discover the role, responsibilities, requirements, and real-life experiences of our volunteers at an informative session.

2. Apply

After you have attended an Info Session, you will receive an application via email. 

3. Interview

A member of our staff will review your application and contact you to schedule an in-person interview.

4. Attend Training

Complete our 4-part CASA training, get fingerprinted, and complete your background check.

5. Graduate!

On Graduation Day, you will be sworn in by a judge as an Officer of the Court and matched with a foster child as a Court Appointed Special Advocate!
